Snowshoes – ideal for a hike through the winter forest

Do you and your children like tobogganing? In Reit im Winkl you may have plenty of fun on one of the many toboggan runs! We highly recommend the natural toboggan run, which with a length of four kilometres counts among the longest toboggan runs in Germany. It is situated on the Hemmersuppenalm, and you may reach it via Unimogs and minibuses. Depending on the snow conditions, you may race down the winding slope all the way into the valley. There is a toboggan rental station in Reit im Winkl, located just above the lodge Hindenburghütte. On the Premium Hiking Trail, up to four toboggan slopes welcome winter sports enthusiasts.

Try out snow-tubing!

Once you had enough of tobogganing in Reit im Winkl, you should definitely have a go at snow-tubing! In the nearby district of Blindau, there is a snow-tubing lift – just next to the Benk-Eck ski lifts. It is a premier construction, the first of its kind, which was built in Germany. And it is super fun – for parents and for children – you should definitely not miss it. Besides snowboarders and skiers, the facility is also popular with winter hikers.
