As part of the extension and conversion works of the former Renaissance and later high Baroque castle, the chapel and the Benefiziaten-Haus (benefice house for the chaplain) were added. Today, the building houses the Priental-Museum. Other changes eventually turned the castle into a holiday home for a social institution. The ground floor of the museum houses the historical development of the art of ironworking that covers three centuries. The first floor of the museum displays the entire history of the Cramer-Klett Family, which came from Nuremberg. The design has been adapted to the new concept in of 2010.
