Discover the attractions of Reit im Winkl

Urlaub-in-Reit-im-Winkl

If you are interested in the culture of the health resort, you will find many places worth visiting in and around Reit im Winkl. Among other things, you may visit the Museum of Local History, in order to discover how the daily life of a simple workhand looked like 100 years ago. The carefully furnished rooms reflect the ancient ways of life in the kitchen, bedchamber, and the so-called “Gute Stube” – the parlour. One room shows a traditional shoemaker’s workshop. The Museum of Local History can be visited only during the summer months. The entry is free of charge with the Reit im Winkl Inclusive Card.

A visit to the splendid city of Salzburg

Urlaub-in-Reit-im-Winkl

The summer is offering you a special experience during your holiday in Bavaria. Take advantage of the Day Pass and take the Mozart Express from your Guesthouse Schmiederer Reit im Winkl all the way to the city of Salzburg. You don’t need to change trains. Every year, from the end of May, the Mozart Express is available for our guests. Mozart was born in the city of Salzburg – the city is a baroque beauty in the northern part of the Alps. In the 17th and 18th centuries, Baroque fountains, gardens, houses, and churches were built. Salzburg is therefore also called “Rome of the North”.
